Prior to founding extrameasures, Jan was President and Founder of Steinert & Associates, a $35 million full-service direct response advertising agency specializing in telecommunications and financial services. The agency was acquired by Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing in 1995, and Jan served as President of Harte-Hanks Direct, the strategic and creative division of the company.

Previously, Jan was President of FCB Direct New York, the direct response subsidiary of Foote, Cone & Belding, and General Manager of Stone & Adler New York, a division of Young & Rubicam.

Jan began his career at First Chicago Corp, now part of JP Morgan Chase, where he held various management positions in retail and bankcard marketing.

Rick Elkus brings more than 20 years of financial and management experience to the extrameasures team, and is currently responsible for finance, administration and program operations.

Prior to joining the company, Rick was the CFO and founding member of Phoenix Imaging, a joint venture between Hewlett Packard and Kodak. Rick joined Hewlett Packard in 1986 as the financial analyst for the PRCD headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. In 1993, after serving in several financial positions in the Printer Circuit Board Division, Rick was named Financial Operations Manager for the Inkjet Supplies Business Unit in San Diego, where he was then promoted to Controller of the All-in-One Division.

A co-founder of extrameasures, Ken Murray serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Development, and maintains responsibility for the day-to-day Program Management and Merchant Sell-In Efforts for extrameasures.

Prior to extrameasures, Ken was with Harte-Hanks Direct where he was Senior Vice President, Director of Client Services. Ken was responsible for Client Services and New Business Development for clients such as Verizon, AT&T, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Ameritech/SBC, Americast and Qwest Communications.

Ken also served as an Account Supervisor at the Direct Marketing Group, where he was a key member of the team that created and launched the Echo award-winning Chemical Bank Liberty Visa Affinity credit card campaign.

Ken has significant expertise in developing, launching and managing prepaid loyalty programs for Telemarketing and Financial Services Companies. His expertise includes direct response advertising, print and card production, inbound and outbound customer service, database analysis and operations management.

David Sebestyen has nine years of experience in the advertising and direct mail field. David spent four of those nine years working for both interactive and traditional advertising agencies in New York City.

In October 2003, David joined extrameasures and later became the Senior Account Director. David graduated from the University of California, at Los Angeles, in 1998.
